PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE POLYMER INDUSTRY IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT PLASTEX QAZAQSTAN 2026

THE KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF PLASTICS AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRY PLASTEX QAZAQSTAN 2026 WILL TAKE PLACE IN ALMATY FROM 21 TO 23 OCTOBER 2026.

The specialized platform will bring together companies from 4 countries — Kazakhstan, China, Russia, and Uzbekistan. The exhibitor line-up includes 10 domestic and 6 international enterprises showcasing modern technologies, equipment, and solutions for the development of the polymer and chemical industries.

The exhibition will cover the entire production cycle, from raw materials and components to finished products. Visitors will discover polymer processing technologies, automation systems and peripheral equipment, moulds, and tooling. Particular attention will be given to composite materials, polyurethanes, rubber, rubber products, and 3D printing solutions. The innovations on display will enable industry professionals to explore current market trends, assess opportunities for production modernization, and establish new business contacts.

An important part of the exhibition will be its business programme, focused on discussing strategic priorities for the development of the petrochemical complex, the expansion of processing capacities, and improving the competitiveness of domestic products. The central event will be the plenary session entitled “Kazakhstan’s Polymer Industry: From Launching Petrochemical Production Facilities to High Value-Added Products”.

The professional dialogue will continue with thematic sessions entitled “Modernization of Housing and Utilities through Polymer Solutions: Development of Pipe Production and Localization of Infrastructure Projects” and “Economics of Plastics Recycling in Kazakhstan”. KPI will hold a special session entitled “Developing Polymer Processing in Kazakhstan: KPI Commercial Solutions and Special Programmes”. The programme will also feature a Foresight Block dedicated to exploring promising areas for the industry's development.

Plastex Qazaqstan 2026 will help strengthen cooperation between manufacturers, suppliers of technological solutions, and industry experts. The exhibition will create additional opportunities to expand industrial cooperation, introduce innovations, and develop international partnerships in the chemical industry and polymer processing sector.
